Mystery Box

We picked up our first CSA box in years last night and were reminded of what we'd been missing: The sense of anticipation (What's going to be in the box?), the excitement and curiosity as we opened and unpacked the contents (Is this a tiny leek or a giant green onion?), the planning of dishes and meals to make with our share of the harvest.

We were still full from dinner, but when we got the bounty home we munched on the sweetest carrots and crispest apples we'd eaten in a long, long time.
