Want to Save Money? Try Cooking Cabbage

Sunday November 23, 2008
Cabbage is cheap. In season, like right now, it becomes a downright steal. But what if, you ask, you don't particularly care for cabbage? Perhaps sour smells of boiled cabbage linger in your memory. Maybe you've only ever had simpering, sad, unseasoned versions of this versatile vegetable. Well, we can change that.

Virtual Cookie Exchange- Elaine Lemm, our guide to British food says “This irresistible Scottish Shortbread is traditionally eaten on New Years Eve, but is so good you can really eat it anytime.”
