Regular readers will notice that my CSA share looks a lot like last week's. That's what happens: You'll get the same things for awhile, with slight shifts each week - spinach instead of carrots, for example - and then one week you pick up your box and sha-zam! a new season and its different produce is upon you. Like in the spring when all of the sudden there is asparagus and it seems like everything tastes fresher and greener. Or in summer when the peaches and tomatoes and melons and corn get together and declare it be summer.
This week's box contained: Asparagus, an avocado, cabbage, cherries, English peas, grapefruit, green garlic (getting bigger each week), red potatoes, snap peas, spinach, spring salad mix, strawberries, and teeny tiny zucchini perfect for adding to a frittata.
