I love this doubled lattice pie a reader sent me. Well, she sent the picture, not the pie, which is a shame because a berry pie is a very delicious thing.
Instead of a classic lattice, weaving every other strip of pie crust over and under each other, she doubled them, weaving two side-by-side strips over and under alongside one another. Whew! Talk about a picture being worth a thousand words: I'm glad there is a picture so you can have any idea what I'm talking about.
