Remember how I told you about Roots: The Definitive Compendium? Well, its author, Diane Morgan, was on The Kojo Nnamdi Show on WAMU in Washington DC with Juliet Glass, a market manager for FRESHFARM Markets in DC. They discussed common and less common root vegetables - from potatoes and beets to watermelon radishes and parsley root.
