This chile citrus sauce is just that—minced chile in citrus juice. It is common throughout the Yucatan region of Mexico, but works on any dish that needs a real kick of heat.
In a small bowl, combine 1 minced habanero or 2 serrano chiles, 2 Tbsp. lime juice, 1 Tbsp. orange juice, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Let sit at least 30 minutes for flavors to blend.
No, it doesn't make a lot. I doubt you'll need more unless you have a big crowd coming, but it doubles, triples, etc. very nicely.
