San Francisco Bay Area Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Find a CSA in the San Francisco Bay Area

By Molly Watson, About.com

San Francisco Bay Area residents have a lot of extremely fine CSAs to choose from.

Full Belly Farm

Full Belly Farm is about an hour northwest of Sacramento in the Capay Valley. It is a certified organic farm with a CSA that delivers to pick-up sites in San Rafael, East Bay, South Bay, and Sacramento Area. Members can choose between weekly and bi-weekly pick-ups.

Eat Well Farm

Eat Well Farm offers members eggs along with the more standard fruits and vegetables, as well as weekly or bi-weekly delivery in the Bay Area and the Sacramento Area.

Two Small Farms

Marquita Farm and High Ground Organics work together to bring their members a range of produce in weekly deliveries throughout the Bay Area. Members can add flowers to their delivery for a modest fee.

Marquita Farm is renowned for their strawberries and members receive an ample share of them throughout the long spring-through-summer season.

Terra Firma Farm

Terra Firma Farm is a certified organic farm in Winter, California. It grows and delivers year-round (with a two week break at the winter holidays). Members can choose between small, medium, and large boxes with a 2/3 vegetables and 1/3 fruit mix most weeks.
