Gin and tonics are a classic summer cocktail - and a great way to use any limes that may be sitting around your house! The instructions below are for one cocktail, but feel free to increase the amounts to fit the number of people on your deck.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 Gin and Tonic Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. gin
  • 6 to 8 oz. tonic water (or part tonic and part soda for those who want a lighter-in-calories and tonic taste)
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Preparation:

Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour gin over the ice. Fill glass with tonic (or tonic and soda). Add lime juice and lime wedge. Serve immediately.
