Grapefruit & Pommelos

Grapefruit is at its best in late winter through early summer. This large citrus fruit is most commonly served at breakfast simply halved and sometimes topped with honey or sugar, but there are many other, delicious ways to prepare it. Find some quick and easy ways to enjoy this refreshing winter and spring fruit here. As with all citrus, chose fruits that are heavy for their size. Pommelos are a different fruit, but very similar to grapefruit except for their extraordinarily thick peel and slightly drier texture. Pommelos can be used in any of these recipes in place of grapefruit.
