Fresh & Wyld Farmhouse grew out of a produce business. Now it's an inn, a restaurant, a cooking school, and a small working farm in Paonia, Colorado.
Local, Organic, Sustainable Produce:
Fresh & Wyld is the brainchild of Dava Parr, a chef who used to work in Aspen. It started as a produce delivery service (CSA) from organic farms in the North Fork and Roaring Fork Valleys.
Even Produce Delivery Needs a Home:
The produce delivery service needed digs, so Parr bought an old farmhouse with plenty of outbuildings. Now the produce is gathered and packed in the old barn and the farm house has been converted to an inn. A kitchen garden, orchard, and chicken coop were added to the grounds to provide most of the ingredients used at the inn. Guests are served a hearty, healthy breakfast every morning and the inn is open for farm-to-table dinner Saturdays and brunch Sundays.
