Grilled Potatoes could not be easier - just throw some potatoes on a grill and enjoy the crusty exterior and creamy yet fluffy interior that results! I like to use Yukon Golds or Yellow Finns, both of which have build-in flavor and sweetness.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes


  • 2 lbs. potatoes (note that smaller potatoes can be cooked whole)
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt


  1. Preheat a grill to medium-high or high heat. Scrub potatoes very clean and pat dry. Cut larger potatoes into halves or quarters.
  2. Put potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with oil and toss to coat thoroughly. Sprinkle with salt and toss to coat.
  3. Put potatoes on grill, turning once or twice every 10 to 15 minutes, and cook until tender all the way through. Cooking time will depend on the size, but for most potatoes will take about 30 minutes. Serve hot or warm.

Makes about 6 servings Grilled Potatoes.
