I love Metrocurean.com, a local food blog about Washington, DC. It's mostly centered around restaurants, but there's a bit on local cooking classes, where to find a butcher and where to find and pick local produce.

Gluten Free Girl

One of my favorite blogs about local foods happens to be one aimed at those needing to eat gluten free. Gluten Free Girl, aka Shauna Ahern, lives on Vashon Island, which is just a short ferry ride from Seattle, and she writes about the fresh local produce she gets and grows there, her visits to Pike Place Market in Seattle, and so on. She also writes about her husband, Danny, who's a respected local chef, and their lives as writers, cooks, and parents. She lives and breathes local foods.
